My song for this Saturday dovetails into the struggle I've been blogging about over the past couple of days--discernment of God's leading. Truly, this song says it all to a T! (And should put aside any lingering questions I may have.)
Jon Mohr wrote these lyrics based on Philippians 1:6. Steve Green sang the classic, "He Who Began a Good Work in You."
If the struggle you're facing
Is slowly replacing your hope
With despair
Or the process is long
And you're losing your song
In the night
You can be sure that the Lord
Has His hand on you
Safe and secure
He will never abandon you
You are His treasure
And He finds His pleasure in you
He who began a good work in you
He who began a good work in you
Will be faithful to complete it
He'll be faithful to complete it
He who started the work
Will be faithful to complete it in you.
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.--Philippians 1: 9-11 (NASB)

Will be faithful to complete it"
Amen & Amen
Have a great weekend relaxing! :D
There is also no doubt that you will follow his lead.
Lastly, it is SO obvious to everyone that God speaks to you because of the way he speaks to us THROUGH you.
